SE Stands for Security Edition and the Security Features include:

Three levels of users. Full BIPS Users will have access to everything in BIPS SE. Report Users can view the information displayed in BIPS SE application and reports but cannot make any changes. BIPS Administrators can assign passwords and user names for both BIPS SE users and report users. They will also have full access to all the functions in BIPS SE.

User name and password protection- your systems or IT administrator can set up and assign passwords to protect the database from unauthorized users.

Other improvements over BIPS

BIPS SE's first screen is now both horizontally and vertically resizable so you can view it at any size.

On the menu bar, under Donor Actions, all reports are now both horizontally and vertically resizable so you can view them at any size.

BIPS SE is easy to install and is compatible with almost any PC. It needs to be installed on each user's local hard drive. For two or more users, the database will be stored on your organization's server.
